Finding Your Way Back to Peace and Connection

Life can be messy. Sometimes it feels like no matter how hard you try—at work, in your relationships, or even in your faith—you just can’t find the calm or clarity you need. You might be feeling disconnected from your partner, uncertain about the next step in your life, or weighed down by stress and self-doubt. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to face it by yourself.

My name is Mario Uribe, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving the greater Austin, Texas area, serving clients throughout South Austin, Buda, and Kyle, with an additional office in Round Rock. My goal is to help you find your way back to peace, connection, and a deeper sense of meaning in your life. Whether you’re seeking help for your relationship, struggling to manage anxiety or stress, or navigating the complexities of parenting, I believe healing begins with being truly seen and understood.

How I Approach Our Work Together

When you come to see me, you’re not just another client. You’re a person with a perspective that matters. I believe therapy works best when it fosters genuine connection - providing a secure space that encourages honest connection without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll look beneath the surface of your struggles to identify and explore greater possibilities toward health, peace and healing for yourself and those you love.

My relational approach is grounded in compassion and respect for all that makes you uniquely yourself. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a model that emphasizes the power of emotional connection as a pathway to healing. In simpler terms, it’s about helping you and those you love feel safe enough to reach for each other again. Whether we’re exploring patterns of conflict with your partner or working through feelings of isolation, the focus is always on rebuilding trust and closeness.

What Matters Most to Me

At the heart of my work is a belief that everyone desires healthy attachment—living in “whole-ness,” of self, while experiencing value and connection with others. Whether your perspective is spiritual or secular, my role is to meet you where you are. I integrate faith-based principles for those who prefer a faith-informed approach, and I provide a fully secular approach for those who do not—always with respect and empathy.

Supporting Neurodivergent Individuals

In my work with parents, relationship partners and other adults whose lives are impacted by ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum, I focus on helping neurodivergent clients and families toward acceptance and coping strategies, emphasizing the unique strengths and assets clients bring to the therapy process. Together, we develop pathways toward greater focus, self-acceptance and intention—helping you to navigate life with greater confidence, clarity and purpose.

Moving Forward Together

If you’re visiting this page, you may already be taking your first courageous step toward change. Whether you’re located in greater South Austin, Buda, Kyle, or Round Rock, or otherwise a Texas resident interested in virtual counseling, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but with patience, compassion, and support, it’s possible to rediscover connection, peace, and hope—one step at a time.
